M.H. case — a murder confessed on live television
On 13 December 2023, a 34-year-old man went missing in the Kozan district of Adana; his vehicle was found abandoned. Eleven days later his body was found in a stream, and it was determined that he had been shot in the back of the neck. One of the suspects confessed to the murder during the live broadcast of a television program. The court sentenced the confessing defendant to 25 years, with a reduction for remorse, and sentenced the other defendant to life imprisonment without reduction.
