At the start of 2025, a man went missing in the Kepez district of Antalya; 49 days later his body was found in a wooded area. The investigation resulted in two defendants being sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment for "premeditated murder," along with additional prison sentences for robbery and violation of the sanctity of the home. A third defendant received a prison sentence for concealing the crime and theft, while a fourth defendant was acquitted of the murder charge.
