Erdemli's Murder Case Without a Body
Between 25 and 26 May 2025 an investigation began into a suspected killing in an unfinished three-storey building in Kargıpınarı, Erdemli district of Mersin. Gendarmerie detectives (JASAT) found no body but discovered bloodstained items and clothing. Familial DNA analysis identified the victim as İ.K., who had not been in touch with his family for years.
