The Djinns of Feroz Shah Kotla
Folklore — not a documented case
Djinns are believed to live in the ruins of a 14th-century fort in Delhi. Every Thursday hundreds of people come to leave them letters with their wishes.
Feroz Shah Kotla is the ruined citadel of Firozabad, a city founded on the banks of the Yamuna in the 14th century by the Delhi sultan Firuz Shah Tughlaq. Among the ruins stand a mosque still in use and an Ashokan stone pillar more than 2,000 years old.
