Long Beach, USA (alleged event)

The Ghosts of the Queen Mary

Folklore — not a documented case

Ghosts are claimed to haunt the engine room and corridors of the Queen Mary, a former ocean liner permanently moored at Long Beach.

Permanently moored in the harbour of Long Beach, California, the RMS Queen Mary was a celebrated ocean liner that crossed the Atlantic from 1936 to 1967. During the Second World War she was painted grey and carried troops, earning the nickname the Grey Ghost for her speed. After retirement she was turned into a hotel and museum, and ever since she has been described as one of America's most haunted places.
