The Ayşegül Yaşar case

54-year-old Ayşegül Yaşar left her home in the Düziçi district of Osmaniye telling her husband she was going for a walk, and never returned. The case remained unresolved for nearly eight years. Under a new review coordinated by the Cold Case Investigation Department, old call-detail records, cell-tower data, and phone logs were reassessed; security-camera footage obtained years earlier was enhanced with current technology, and witness statements were re-compared against other evidence. As a result, a fifth suspect in the case was identified, apprehended, and arrested on a charge of intentional homicide.
